Which innovative language traditions most closely relate to one another? Who is influencing whom? How can we learn from other language experiments around the globe? If writing a piece on connections in global experimental poetry, where would we start?

As an American, I see strong connections between us and the British, Finnish, Australians, and Brazilians. Those come quickly off the top of my head. In addition, I have been strongly influenced by Mexican, Chilean, and Italian experimental writers. I don't know if that's the case with other poets though. Where and who are your influences? Are Americans overally insular? Is that true of other language traditions or countries?

These are just some random personal views on the subject, and do not represent in any way opinions of the larger literary scene in Mexico.
Maybe this was not what we were supposed to discuss here, but these were my thoughts on the subject this morning.
